EMI utilizes x-ray fluorescence spectrometer for verification of plating thickness. EMI has the capability of performing testing in-house on parts that require solder ability, high temperature bake for adhesion testing, and inspection under high power magnification. . We will establish effective performance testing methods, simulating "real-world" environments, when required, Salt Spray testing is currently outsourced, however, EMI expects to install a salt fog chamber by December 2008
